Unlocking Story was a four-week masterclass for actors and writers of all levels in the art of detailed storytelling. From his years of study at the Juilliard School as an actor, to working as a writer on hit TV shows like Fargo, Lee has worked with industry greats such as Ryan Murphy, Laura Dern, and Warren Littlefield, to name a few. Lee offers a wealth of knowledge and practical experience. In this four-week workshop series, students developed critical script analysis techniques and specificity in character development as it relates to diverse voices. Because of that focus, we invited a number of storytellers that we believed would be enriched by this one-time intensive. Additionally, in keeping with CAB’s mission of providing diverse artists in the Los Angeles community with access to professional development opportunities, this workshop will provided scholarship support for participants with financial need.
